1996: Began my political career
2001: Became MLA of Mankada and resigned on 26th of October 2010
2007: Began the works of an Educational society and is still The Chairman of GEMS
2011:Got elected as the MLA of Perinthalmanna
2012: Sworn in to the Oomen Chandi government as the Minister for Urban development and Minority Welfare
